bmiPounds - a body mass index calculator

bmiPounds is FREE a Body Mass Index (BMI) for the iPhone and iPod Touch. Your BMI is calculated using a fairly simple formula and the number returned is often used as an indicator of 'health'. There are data that do show that if your BMI is above, or below, certain values then there can be a direct impact on your heath, however, the calculation fails for the 'professionally fit' (e.g. athletes with high muscle mass), the young and the elderly.

The calculator

This free calculator uses pounds (lb) for your weight and feet (ft) and inches (in) for your height. It will then calculate your BMI, report your ideal weight range and state if you are over or under-weight. The calculator will also report by how much you need to change your weight.
